Thanksgiving Point

Mom, Halle, and I
Dance Hall at Thanksgiving Point
Joe, Mom, and Halle

This goat came and jumped up to mom as soon as we stopped to look at all goats. It was way cute and even had freckles. It was a favorite for everyone.

Halle didn't really like the horse. She decided to ride but was the first one on. She made it as far as them loading all the kids on horses. She was very cute, but scared to death.
The sheep was more her style.

I loved the baby goat
This made me want a goat. I still do!

I was very surprised at how soft the llama is.

Mom and Halle trying out their Halloween costumes :)

This is pretty much what I do when I don't work Fridays and when I'm off early. I am lucky enough to be able to go spend some time with my niece. One Friday my mom and I decided to go to Thanksgiving Point. We took Halle to the petting zoo. My little bro Joe decided to come too. It was such a fun day. We fed most of the animals. The goat was my favorite. I think my mom's too. I would love to get one someday. My brother loved the llama. It was funny cuz everywhere we went the llama would follow him around. I had fun just being with Halle. She is too fun. We also shopped around and had a nice lunch. It was nice to be able to do something and not be rushed. Just thought i'd post some pics of our day. Hope everyone had a good September!

1st Day of Fall

Wow! I can't believe its already the first day of Fall. I love this time of year. I love the changing colors and that it still isn't super cold. This year has flown by. It's already the end of September and this is my first post for the month. Weird huh? So much has been going on with us that I don't even know where to start. The summer was way crazy busy for us with weddings, baby blessings, personal family stuff, our vacations, and our little getaways. As most of you know summer is our time to play and be together. We are so busy with work and school during the year that summer is our fun time. We are rarely home in the summer and when we are we are working then on weekends off to a new adventure. Well, Kinda :)

Paul~ started back to school. He is almost done at SLCC. He will soon have his math done that will finally allow him to move on. As of right now he plans on going to the U next fall. Other than school nothing really new going on. Life is the same. Work and school. Nothing too exciting happens til summer. I'm proud of Paul though cuz as much as he hates math (almost as much as I do) he's sticking with it and has already aced his first couple of tests. He is also in a sociology class and gender in America. I think he's been enjoying them. I'll have to find out.

Kelci~ I have decided to go back to school. I started at the end of August and am now working on a program to help me to become a medical transcriptionist. Its been interesting so far. Its a 9 course program set up to only do one course at a time. Depending on how big/long the course is the more time I have for it. I usually have a test every week on a unit for a longer course or I have a final if not a test. I'm currently on my 3rd class and have a final this week. I'm anxious to keep going with this. The plan is for me to be done by April. I'm looking forward to it because this is a great job that will allow me to be a stay at home mom when I raise my family and still work to help Paul through school and stuff. I'm also kind of bummed, I was just released from Primary. Hopefully something else is in store for me. I loved that calling and getting to know the kids. This is kinda random but I just wanted to put that i'm kind of proud of myself for something I consider an accomplishment this month. For those of you who know me real well you know I absolutely hate driving, especially the freeway. I also don't like driving alone, especially to places i'm not too familiar with. Well this month I went to my friends wedding alone. Paul couldn't go with me because of school. I was terrified because I've never been to bountiful and I hate the freeway. I'm proud to say I actually found the temple on my own and went by myself. It was a beautiful sealing. I loved the sealer they had.

Our most recent news is that we are trying to move. I don't think we can get into a house right now but we want to try. That all depends on what Paul's school plans are too. But I do know that I want some type of change in life and if we do this it will be one less thing we have to do once we have a baby. We found a place we are interested in, but we are trying to decide if its right and we still need to find out if it will work or not. If it doesn't work out we are still looking. So either way thats new on our plans. Nothing else to report. I hope you all have a great Fall.

HAPPY FALL!!!
