Moving Day

It's finally here! Moving day is upon us and now I have mixed emotions. This has been my home for 5 years. It's been a great apartment for us, but I need change, we both do. I'm getting a little nervous though. Its nice to get a fresh start and meet new neighbors and people, but its also a little nerve wrecking. I can't tell you how excited I am though. I just hate the process. I hate packing and trying to have things organized. Its a chaotic organization. I'm interested to find out what the future holds for us. Its one step closer to our goals and dreams.

HAPPY BIRTHDAY PAUL!

Unfortunately Paul had to work that day, but it totally paid off in the end. This is what he came home too.

These are some of the gifts I gave him. Included in his card and another card were certificates I made that were good to spend one night at Anniversary Inn and a show at Desert Star. As you can probably tell from the picture we went to In N Out after he got home from work. This is Paul's birthday picture. Isn't he spoiled?

So with this year being the big 2 5, I wanted to do something special and different for him. We usually go out and do something he wants to do, but its never anything too big. I think that 25 is a big birthday, so I had some planning to do. I also wanted to show Paul that I love and appreciate him. He is an amazing husband and does so much for me. Sometimes I think I take it for granted. I had asked him in advance to take off Friday the week of his birthday, so as part of his gift I booked a room for Anniversary Inn.
This weekend we celebrated his birthday. We went and stayed in Treasure Island. That is a way fun room. We also went to see the new pirate show at Desert Star. Its kind of funny that I had the room before the tickets and didn't realize that it was opening weekend of the new show, so in the end there was a theme to the celebration. He also chose to have dinner at Timpanyakis, no complaint there, cuz that is one of my favorite places. Anyways we had a fun weekend. Thank you Paul for being a great husband and for choosing me to spend eternity with. I love you.

FRIENDSHIP

Paul and I have been spending a lot of time with friends lately so friendship has been on my mind. I am so grateful to those friends we have in our life. Friendship is very important to me. It reminds me that i'm never alone. I know we have our families, but it's also nice to have people to call up out of the blue, to laugh with, cry with, hang out with, and the list can go on and on. With friendship being heavily on my mind lately, i've been thinking about friendships i've had through out my life. I've had so many fun memories. People come and go in our lives but I will always cherish their friendship and memories I have made with them. It's been kind of fun with little things I can think of. If I started listing some of my favorites the list can go on and on so I won't do that, but I do want to thank everyone who has been a part of my life and made me who I am today.

I have had a wonderful year making new memories with new friends.

So, with friendship being on my mind, i've been looking through quotes and pictures. I found some that have stood out to me. I thought it would be fun to add them to this post. I'm just glad to know that i'm never alone and that I will always have someboday around. I'm also thankful that I met my best friend and can spend every day of my life with him. He is so good to me. I love you Paul. I also want to wish you a HAPPY BIRTHDAY today. Thanks for being such a wonderful hubby! I'm glad to have you and to be able to spend eternity with you.

Changes

Hey everyone! So I just wanted to update on the changes in our family. Paul and I are finally going to be able to move! I'm way excited. We are going back to South Jordan. It's about time. I would love to say we will be in our very first house that we own, but not yet... it is a house though so that will be extremely nice. It will be nice to be in a new area and get a new start. We have been married for almost five years and are still working on some of our goals. Mine being to start a family soon, now with the move it will put us a step closer. It will also be nice to have some type of change. I have been getting frusterated with our apartment and with our neighborhood. I'm ready to get out and make new friends and be in a more stable ward. Life is great and busy, but sometimes you just need some type of change and this will be ours. I'm excited for this new adventure.
